I live in Los Angeles and am a digital marketer and online content creator besides a fiction and nonfiction author. I have a B.A. in Journalism from Michigan State University and an M.B.A. in Finance from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
From September 1970 to May 1972 my husband Mitch and I were stationed with the U.S. Army in Munich, Germany. Mitch was an officer with the 18th Military Intelligence Battalion, and I eventually got a security clearance and worked as a civilian for the 66th Military Intelligence Group. This experience inspired much of my fiction and nonfiction, including books and screenplays.
I am a former member of the Department of Defense’s Bloggers Roundtable and am active in supporting U.S. troops, their families, and veterans. Click here to read about this activity now.
I am available to speak by skype with book clubs discussing one of my books (see on this site the book discussion questions for women’s friendship novel MRS. LIEUTENANT) and to speak by skype to high school classes using the high school curriculum for MRS. LIEUTENANT or my nonfiction book HOW TO SUCCEED IN HIGH SCHOOL AND PREP FOR COLLEGE.
